How the Road Wing was Invented
Chapter 2
In this chapter, I’ve included a photo of the original Road Wing that was built and tested in my garage. The wing is strapped to the roof of my wife’s red Grand Marquis.
The photo almost reminds me of when you see a car driving down a highway with a mattress or something else tied to the top. While the image may be similar, the mileage results and aerodynamics are entirely the opposite. With the Road Wing, the drive is always smooth and the miles per gallon of gas is better than before.
I can only imagine what it’s like with a mattress tied to the top. We sometimes got odd stares when driving with the original road wing.
Our new sleek and aerodynamic airfoils for pickups are impressive and make a statement. We have come a long way since my first Road Wing was made in my garage back in 2009. I think that my wife and kids thought that I was a bit out there strapping a wing to the top of our cars.
Thank you for your support in making the road wing a success.
Yours, SH
